I ''normally'' do very little highway driving. I don't tow anything. Next year we will be doing a very long driving trip in the USA. I presently drive a Honda CRV 2010. What difference would I notice between the 2.0 and the 1.6 in the 2013 Ford Escape?

The main difference will be power and for a long trip the smaller engine will use less fuel. What about the new 2012 CR-V, a fantastic vehicle.
