Hi Zack,
I have been rear-ended no less than 6 times. The first was so devastating that it ripped my driver?s seat right out of the floor of a ?64 Volvo. I have suffered from chronic pain and debilitating headaches ever since. The following 5 crashes just added to the problems. Over the period of these crashes, I have owned several cars. I presently own a 2002 Honda Civic which I consider to be the safest of all. However, I?m not sure that the headrests, although placed correctly, would help that much. It would depend where your head was at the time of the crash. I don?t know many people who drive with their head tucked against their headrest. How far away can your head be and still be protected by the headrests?
BTW, one lawyer had the gall to tell me the pain would go away when I received my money! Believe me, it doesn?t work that way!

You don't want to rest your head on the head restraint but it should be as close as possible. |
