My understanding is the US government spent bundles to incorporate this vehicle into their national fleet. Otherwise it is a public acceptance flop. Electrical cars will be minute in the scheme of things as new engines and technology will keep the gas machines going for a long while yet. I would personally never own a elecrical vehicle. Drive a smaller gas fired car? Maybe if it is turbo-charged, freaky quick and fun to drive.

Dear Lacey and Zack,

Thank you both for your efforts on this show. I find it really helpful. Both have you have a great style and approach that is complimentary. I catch the radio show now and then as well; usually when in my car looking around at other cars. The two of you are an excellent team. Is it horrible having to deal with the masses of paparazzi outside of every car door?

Despite the fact purchasing a new car is not on my immediate radar and doing more walking is, I find myself checking your website now and then. This morning for the Buick Regal sedan with the manual shift and the Chevy Volt reviews. I am excited to finally see a four door GM vehicle with Manual Transmission. Is it a good car? Is GM going to challenge any of the Audi A4 type market with this car? Are the Volts worth the 55,000$ ticket price for someone in the Edmonton, Alberta market, selling real estate, driving clients around.

Motormouth.ca says: 8:18 PM on November 19, 2011 The Buick GS has 255hp from a 2.0 turbo direct-injection engine, which is pretty remarkable and the 0-60mp/h time is under 7 seconds. This manual-shift only car is built on an Opal platform and designed in Germany. Production is shifting to Oshawa as we speak. Audi killer? not sure about that but it is a very compelling package, plus the interior is fabulous. The Volt starts at just under $43,000 and is the best electric car on the market but for a realtor who drives a lot, the 65km range on just electric power is limiting. After 65km the gas engine comes on so you might just want to consider an efficient gas or diesel car.
