Friend just returned from a week in Wms Lake. Rented a 200 from National, the only agency in town. Was amazed to discover that it managed only 12 mpg. Lady at the agency said they were dissatisfied with these vehicles and intended to get rid of them.
This is the new Chrysler?

I purchased a 2010 Dodge Avenger in September of this year at 41000km. I only had it for about 2 weeks and I started having front end problems. I was driving north on hwy 99 toward vancouver. When I had to hit the brakes the car started to vibrate really bad on what appeared to be the driver side. Even after I released the brakes the car would continue to vibrate badly. At first it was only when I went above 90i.e., now it does it all the time and there appears to be a cracking or popping sound and feeling coming from the steering wheel as well as the vibration. What would be causing this? Also the longer I drive it in one trip, the worse it gets until it's cold again the next time I drive. Should this still be covered under warranty? Would even be want the dealer to take advantage of covered under warranty? would I have to pay for labor? Are there recalls for this issue for that year's model? It's very frustrating because I loved driving the car before when I first got it. Now I have the car sitting because I do not want to pay for something that should not be a problem and I don't want the dealer to take advantage of me? PLEASE HELP!

The vehicle is still under warranty and they should have a look at the car to determine what the problem is. If, for example, the problem is a tire or brakes, which are wear items, it is not covered under warranty. If the problem is a malfunction, then it will be covered. The only way to find out is to have them inspect the car and let you know BEFORE and work is done.
