Bad: In the United States, Ford offers a stripped down version starting at $34,000.
ZACK'S VERDICT
In this job, cars come and cars go; there are not many that evoke a connection like this Mustang GT did. For drivers, the 5.0-litre engine and short-throw 6-speed manual is perfect for heal-and-toe downshifts, getting a meaty growl with every blip of the throttle.
The styling is chunky and masculine, and throw in the convertible and this is one compelling package.
My family enjoyed every moment as well, with my nine-year-old son begging for a ride every chance he had.
He sees cars come and go as well, and this is the first one he was truly excited about.
Even after all these years, the Mustang still has a strong pull for young and old. I'm still trying to talk "the boss" into considering a new family member, this one in Grabber Blue.
